29/05/12 - 2011/12 Presentation Evening
After another long, hard and ultimately frustrating season for the club, it's time to celebrate the successes and draw a line under the 2011/12 season with our annual presentation night. This will take place on Thursday 14th June 2012 at the usual venue: Woodford Wells Cricket Club (Monkhams Lane, Woodford Green, IG8 0NL). All the usual awards will be up for grabs and we will of course be discussing arrangements for next season too! Please meet in the club bar at 7.30pm.
Also, a reminder to all those who sponsored Luke for his 10K run. Luke has since completed the run in a more than respectable 51 minutes! Could those who have not paid him yet bring along their sponsorship money as its for a very worthy cause! (prostate cancer)
Look forward to seeing you all there on the 14th!

Our season starts proper on Saturday with our first League game, please be on time to make things as stress free as possible for Nick by helping to get nets up, pay etc. Lets make sure we start the season in the right manner. Also, please take time to check the Fixtures and League Table pages. Two fixtures took place in our league last week, in addition, the league has now posted our first six fixtures. They include a trip to AAH Romford on October 1st, our Fenton Cup 2nd Round tie with Trelawny on October 15th and finally a visit to Esprit Midland at the Britania Sports Ground on October 22nd. No further fixtures have been set beyond the Esprit game.
The Harriers lost 2-1 today against Chingford Athletic A in their final pre-season fixture. The Blues took the lead through an early Jabbari strike but were pegged back to 1-1 before half time. The game looked set to be heading for a draw until a scuffed free kick snuck under the Harriers wall and into the back of the net just minutes from the final whistle. With some valuable pre-season match time under their belts, the Blues now look forward to next week and their opening League fixture at home against league new comers Lansbury.

On Saturday we have our final pre-season game against Chingford Athletic A. The meet is 10.15am at Wadham Lodge, KO is at 11am. Please ensure you are on time. We will be wearing our home kit.
With the IDFL running four divisions this year, the format for the cup competitions has changed slightly. Whilst The Fenton Cup will remain the big prize, spanning across all teams in all four divisions, the divisional cups have been reduced. The Spartak Cup which we made the final of last year now takes in teams from Division Two and Division Three. The Harriers will now compete in The League Cup, this will be encompassing teams from the Premier Division and our own Division One. Draws for the early rounds of both competitions have now been made and can be viewed on the relevant pages on the left navigation panel.
We face a familiar foe in Trelawney in our opening Fenton Cup game, whilst Premier Division new-comers Phobians are our oppoents in the League Cup. Eagle eyed fans will notice that a potential re-match against Supreme Athletic awaits the Blues in the League Cup Quarter Finals should both teams advance! Fans and players alike will remember that epic, 5-4 extra time defeat the Harriers suffered at the hands of Supreme in last years Fenton Cup.
With our league first fixture of the 2011/12 season just over two weeks away, here are the league constitutions for the coming season:

15/08/11 - Message From The Manager

We have ordered lots of kit and clothing. Thanks to Adam's dad we will be getting some funds up front in the form of sponsorship, but it would be great if you can pay the annual subs as soon as possible.
