Presentation Night Pictures - Trophy Winners!

03/06/11

Thanks to everyone who attended the Presentation Night yesterday evening; i thought it was a very positive evening. I'll echo the sentiments of the Captain and the Manager by saying we have a lot to be proud of after last season, and whilst next season will undoubtedly be tough, we should be looking to learn some lessons from last year and really kick on to achieve more. Congratulations go to Nick and Ben who shared the Golden Boot with 13 strikes a piece and Adam for bagging the Most Improved Player award. The 2010/11 Player of the Season accolade was hotly anticipated; with special thanks going to Chris for setting up and maintaining the points system introduced this year. With all the points tallied up, there were special mentions for Luke, Chris and Paul who finished 4th, 3rd and 2nd respectively. However ultimately special congratulations go to Alex who scooped the honour following a fantastic season at the heart of the defence.

The process of planning for next season now begins, as mentioned by Trev, we will be hoping to relocate from Low Hall Farm and we will have new kits for the next campaign. A really big thank you in advance goes to our our sponsor Victor Ferdinandi who will again be picking up the tab for new kits. Subs and fees will be remaining the same and pre-season training will be kicking off in late July, Trev will keep you informed. Keep an eye for updates in the near future regarding the league constitution for next year and some additions to the site; i'll also post photos of our trophy winners over the weekend.

09/05/11

28/02/11

There have been a number of developments over the weekend that have implications for the rest of our season:

1) Firstly, Midland have dropped out of the league. Unfortunately as they had not completed 75% of their fixtures their results have been expunged, which means we lose 6 points and two fine victories now count for nothing. This is made all the worse as Midland had recorded a number of results against some of our close rivals, including a win against FC Golazo. The table has been updated to reflect the changes however it includes a mistake on the IDFL websites' part regarding our current stats; our correct information has been listed below the table image. Please check the table page to see how the changes have affected our league position.

2) One positive to take from Midland's withdrawl is the impact it has had on our fixtures. We were due to have no game on March 26th; however we will now play Ryan Reserves away in the League who we were due to play in a league double header late in the season. Our double header with Singh Sabha Barking is currently still due to go ahead. Please see the fixtures page for the revised fixture list.
