The Harriers had an unhappy return to their former hunting ground. The home side made better use of the high winds and bitterly cold conditions to secure the three points.

14/11/2015 - West Essex Reserves 1 - 2 Chingford Harriers

A late flurry from the visitors saw them score two goals in the final ten minutes to take the spoils.

07/11/2015 - Chingford Harriers 1 - 7 Kitgum Boys

A bad day at the office for the home side on a wet and windy day.

31/10/2015 - St Johns Deaf 3 - 8 Chingford Harriers

A tale of two halves... With a strong line-up The Harriers went into the early kick off with a degree of confidence and were looking to turn their recent good performances into a positive result against the league leaders. The visitors looked the more threatening in the early exchanges and were rewarded for their play after a St Johns Deaf defender diverted a strong low cross from the left into his own net. The home side started to dominate possession for the remainder of the half with the Harriers not being able to retain the ball for any real length of time, the pressure mounted and although feeling like all three goals conceded were preventable, a home side lead was probably deserved at the half time mark. With a change in formation the Harriers started off like a completely different team, a high pressing game forced St Johns Deaf into mistakes which ultimately was their downfall. Within a few minutes the Harriers were left reeling at the referee as two legitimate goals were chalked off but the relentless attacks meant these decisions made no affect on the final result. Upon losing their grip on the game the home side lost their discipline and saw their captain sent off for needless decent when the game was poised at 3-5 and the referee was lenient enough to allow obvious slaps and horrific challenges to not warrant further reds. A special note for the captain Nick Shawyer as he led by example by bagging 4 goals to see the Harrier convincingly get their first win of the season.

24/10/2015 - Glendale 1 - 0 Chingford Harriers

Another good performance that didn't result in three points. The visitors arguably had the lion's share of clear cut chances but once again were not clinical enough to bag the win.

10/10/2015 - Chingford Harriers 3 - 3 Flyers

In a heated exchange the Harriers felt unlucky to not bag the 3 points from this game due to some quality saves from the opposition goalkeeper. It was a relatively slow start for the Harriers with the Flyers having a slight advantage of possession which they used to full effect by taking a two goal lead. The wake-up call arrived and the Harriers started to dominate the ball and the game which obviously roused the opponents as some heavy tackles flew in, mostly unfair tackles. Our Captain showed them how it was done by winning a firm but fair challenge against one of their center backs which resulted in Edwin running through on goal to level the match at 2-2. However, as delighted the home side were to battle their way back into the game they were astounded that the ref did not take harsher action on the Flyers Captain for his reaction to the initial tackle, with a raised hand landing on our player's face he had to see a red card undoubtedly and a second incident in the 2nd half again with a raised fist he should have had no further part to play. The game ended in a draw but a special mention to Ross Patterson as he scored his first goal for the team and done it in some style, Scholes esk some would say, volleying from outside the box firing into the top corner of the goal leaving the GK no hope.

03/10/2015 - Chingford Harriers 1 - 4 Kitgum Boys

The Harriers didn't have much to show after their early numerical advantage with the visitors starting the game with 9 men. A competitive first half saw both teams play some good football and you couldn't have blamed the Harriers from feeling aggrieved at going in at the break 2-1 down. But with numbers short again for the home team fitness was key to how the second half played out as the visitors dominated control of the ball for large periods, however the home side weren't without threat and should have realistically seen the ball hit the back of the net more than just the once.

26/09/2015 - Cowley Community 0 - 0 Chingford Harriers

After a stuttering start to the season the Harriers got their first point on the board as well as their first clean sheet.

19/09/2015 - Chingford Harriers 0 - 2 Grove United

The Harriers poor form at the start of the new season continues with a home defeat.

05/09/2015 - Three Colts 5 - 0 Chingford Harriers

After a pre-season which has seen a fair few new faces join the team and losing Dan Pereira from the squad it's fair to say the first league game probably came too soon. The squad numbers were low to begin with and late cancellations put the Harriers on the back foot, with a bare 11 (a few of which were feeling the celebrations from the night before) were unable to start the new season off in style. The club would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new members of the squad to the team and also wish Dan the very best in his new Sunday league team.
