2014/2015 Season
We are currently looking to add to our squad for the 2014/2015 season, in particular we are looking for a goalkeeper and a centre-back that would be able to play regularly. If you are interested then please contact Nick Shawyer at nj987uk@msn.com.
19/04/2014 - CHFC 2 - 10 St Francis
The Blues ended their season with a dismal home performance, an impressive Forest United side ran riot in the second half having lead 3-0 at the break. The Harriers goals came from Stone and Ferdinandi.

12/04/2014 - St Francis 1 - 2 CHFC
The Harriers recorded an excellent away performance as they came from behind to secure an invaluable three points against St Francis at Wanstead Flats. A first half strike from Daley drew the Blues level before the break, before an 80th minute own goal gave the visitors the lead and eventually maximum points.
Elsewhere, Wanstead Hippos have dropped out of the league and their results have been expunged, strengthening the Blues survival hopes. The Harriers could secure safety with a win in what will now be their final game at home to Forest United next week.

15/03/2014 - Trelawny 2 - 2 CHFC
The Harriers were left feeling robbed after a perfectly legitimate Dan Pereira goal was chalked off, meaning the Blues only took a point from their visit to the Leyton County Ground. First half goals from Nick Shawyer and Sparke-Reid saw the Blues recover from going 1-0 down within ten minutes to lead at the break. The Blues should have increased their lead after an hour when Pereira fired past the keeper only for the referee to adjudge the Harriers number ten to have shot wide after the ball came out through a hole in the net. The Harriers were left to rue the poor officiating ten minutes later when the hosts grabbed an equaliser which would eventually see the game end all square.

08/03/2014 - East Londoners 3 - 0 CHFC
The Blues four game league unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of league leaders East Londoners at Flanders Playing Fields. Having taken a point from East Londoners at Parmiters a few weeks previous, the Harriers were unable to repeat the feat as they slipped to a 3-0 defeat. In truth it was a fairly comfortable afternoon for the hosts as they move seamlessly towards the league title.

01/03/2014 - Glendale 0 - 1 CHFC
The Harriers continued their positive start to 2014 with an important victory in their fight against relegation, taking all three points from their meeting with Glendale at Clayhall Park. A difficult surface accounted for a general lack of quality through out, however a well taken goal from Jabbari in the 79th minute was enough to secure maximum points for the Blues.

22/02/2014 - CHFC 2 - 2 East Londoners
The Blues returned to league action after a prolonged winter break and a number of postponements with a hugely credible draw with unbeaten league leaders East Londoners. The Harriers appeared to have secured a well deserved point when Pereira struck with just under ten minutes remaining, only for the visitors to regain the lead minutes later through a deflected strike. However, with mere seconds remaining Jabbari netted to spark celebrations.

14/12/2013 - CHFC 3 - 5 Lord Nelson
The Harriers ended 2013 with cup disappointment as they crashed out of the Fenton Cup at the hands of League 2 leaders Lord Nelson. The hosts were without a number of key players for this important cup clash and it showed as they were over powered by their lower league rivals. Edwin Jabbari and Scott Prestedge both marked their 100th competitive appearances for the club with goals.

The Blues grabbed only their second league win of the season and went unbeaten in two games with an impressive 3-1 home win over Melbourne Sports. Goals from Nick Shawyer, Daley and Pereira gave the Harriers all three points in what could already be viewed at the half way stage in the season as a six pointer.

23/11/2013 - New Star Soccer 1 - 1 CHFC
The Harriers claimed a point today with a one of their brighter performances in a hard fought game at Wanstead Flats. A rare Edwin Jabbari header levelled the scores with ten minutes remaining and the Blues were unlucky to not go on and claim all three points.
Everyone at the club would like to wish the very best of luck to Peter Shawyer who will be missing for the rest of the season as he heads to New Zealand. Peter has been a consistent performer for the club since joining, his quality and composure in defence will certainly be missed! Good luck Pete!

The Harriers returned to action after a two week break with an away league defeat to Melbourne Sports. The hosts secured a 2-0 lead at the break having been much the better team, but Nick Shawyer's strike got the Blues back into the game early in the second half. With the Harriers pushing for an equaliser, the hosts landed a sucker punch on the break with less than twenty minutes remaining.

The Blues bagged their first win of the season with a comprehensive win over Glendale at Parmiters. 05/10/2013 - Wanstead Hippos 5 - 1 CHFC
The Harriers miserable start to the season continued with Wanstead Hippos taking full advantage of a poor defensive display from the Blues. A Nick Shawyer strike on the stroke of half time gave the Harriers hope, going into the break 3-1 down, but an early goal in the second half for the hosts seemed to kill any momentum the Harriers were building.

28/09/2013 - CHFC 3 - 3 St Francis
The Blues maintained an unbeaten home record in the league by taking a point from the visit of St Francis who had made a strong start to the season. A Nick Shawyer strike put the Harriers ahead before the break before two goals in the space a few minutes put the visitors ahead in the second half. Pereira continued his fine goal scoring form to draw the host level before Amor put the Blues back in front, but St Francis pulled level again late on to ensure the spoils were shared.

21/09/2013 - CHFC 5 - 5 New Star Soccer
The Harriers registered their first point of the league season but should have taken all three after twice letting a two goal lead slip against New Star Soccer at Parmiters. Four goals from Daniel Pereira (including a perfect hat trick) and a trademark header from Diner were not enough to give the Blues their first win of the season, a late header proving enough to deny the Blues the victory.

14/09/2013 - Forest United 5 - 2 CHFC
The Blues league campaign got off to a less than ideal start as former Olympian League side Forest United proved too strong for the Harriers at Wanstead Flats. A destructive opening half hour from the hosts secured the points as they powered into a 4-0 lead. However the Harriers showed plenty of fight, pulling goals back either side of half time. Despite looking the better side for the second period, the Blues were unable to find anymore breakthroughs and Forest were able to add a fifth from the penalty spot, a scoreline that was a little flattering on the team in green.

08/09/2013 - CHFC 2 - 4 Chingford Athletic
The Harriers endured a disappointing end to their pre-season preparations as they went down 2-4 to Chingford Athletic today. An own goal engineered by Denton put the Blues in front before the visitors struck twice before the half time break. The Harriers were much the better side in the second period but a lapse in concentration at the back gifted the visitors a third. Nick Shawyer gave the hosts hope with a confident finish with just under a quarter of an hour to go, but Athletic struck on the break just minutes before the final whistle as the Blues pushed forward in search on an equaliser.

The Harriers continued their pre-season build up as the honours were shared in a local derby with Chingford Celtics. The Blues took a first half lead when Denton rounded off a smart move down the left wing, but were pegged back before the break by hosts. The Harriers looked a much sharper unit than the previous week, taking advantage of a flat surface to keep good possession and play some attractive passing football.
